Could anyone point me in the direction of a few choices? I need something for the winter for a mix of commuting and XC.
I've been looking at the Endura single track full length pants but I'm not sure if I want to spend 60 quid on them. They do get good reviews though.

The Single Tracks are brilliant - well worth the price - IMO
  • I use singletracks and Humvees. Rate em both

Singletracks here. Awesome trousers but try em on first if you can. The mediums are snug around my gut despite me being the size they should fit.

Single track it is then! I'll get them from crc just in case they aren't the right fit.
    Cheers guys

Im after some of these also. Im a 34" waist which equates to medium on thier sizing chart, do you reckon i should go for large then?

I'm a 34 waist and often need a belt to keep my jeans up but the singletracks are snug. To the point that I'm glad they have the plastic 'buckle' otherwise I'd pop the press-stud. I bought them when I started biking a few months ago with the hope that the gut would go...

I'm a 34" waist but need XL in singletracks. And humvee's come to think of it.
  • I am a 32" waist and have a pair of large single tracks. I rate them very highly and they are great for the winter months. They could be done with being slightly longer but you won't be disappointed with them.

+1 for Humvee's I use them to ride to work and on a weekend now it's a bit colder. They're hard wearing too, I've had mine for 3 years now and had a couple of small tumbles in them  and they still look good.

Their sizing chart doesn't make any sense, it says XL is for about 38"- 40" and 34" comes in at a medium which contradicts what everyone on here has said? I'll have to pop in to evans and try some on.

I don't bother buying any mtb clothing online, too much variation / hassle. Luckily I have an Evans and a Leisure Lakes nearby, between them they have most stuff covered.
  • For waterproof overtrousers, have you considered by army surplas goretex trousers - at about £20 from ebay they're a bargain & can be cut down to whatever leg length you choose - I use em, the problem I encountered woth cycle specific is the cost to replace after a crash!!!

I'm 34" waist and have the Large Singeltrack trousers fit perfectly. Endura sizes are all wrong. You need the size above at least. I recently got a Windchill jacket and again went for Large, but probably an XL would have been better.
Here's what I think of the Singletrack trousers.
