Is this a trick question? Ride your bike, don't drive it around like it's your kid.

Why would it be a trick question? If you have a car, you'd have to be pretty thick never to use it to go to new places to start a ride off. Or, alternatively, you may be surprised to know that not every sportive or trail centre starts outside your own front door.......

An interesting question. It's why I am looking at "full sized" folding hybrid bikes with the only manufacturer to do so being montague bikes http://montaguebikes.co.uk/default.asp

Failing that, what all else do like this bloke http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWFE1r9aVUo

I've long fancied a Berlingo / Kangoo / Doblo but my wife simply won't be seen in one :( .

When I was in Brazil they had loads of the Doblo Adventure models; they look like baby land rovers - 'kin ace.

However my other half won't have one either. Hence the Golf Estate.

    :(

I`ve got a Volvo V70 estate, of course my bikes fit in!!

I've got the V90 - I can fit the tandem in with just one side of the rear seats folded down. :D

Fold both seats down and you could probably ride the tandem around in the back :D
