SRAM powerlink

I replaced my chain this weekend and used an 8 speed SRAM chain with a Power Link. One side of the link is fine but the other is stiff, resulting in the chain jumping as it goes through the cassette.

I swapped the powerlink around and the same piece is still stiff. Is there a way to fix this or do i just have a dodgy link and should just get another?

It is the one that came with the chain (both 8 speed). I've tried waggling it a lot and it does not seem to want to loosen. I'll try riding it alonf for a while before getting a different one.
