Remember a while ago a company getting it wrong when 'building' a bike - tesco?

Just seem a BSO on a Argos ad on TV and they have the forks the wrong way round. Classic

The one I saw seemed to be right and wondered if they've "fixed" it.

    But yeah: http://www.bikebiz.com/news/read/argos- ... ate/012258

I have seen that a few times.

This year there have been a few kids riding around in the streets near me with back to front forks. Not a chance i was putting it right but i did tell the parents.

You can just see that first bump up a kerb and the wheel coming right out of the dropout.

Could be the forks are right, but the frame and bars are backwards

Question is, would assembling the BSO correctly result in a noticeably better bike?

Is being stabbed in the face better than being stabbed in the face by someone with a bad haircut?

That's about the magnitude of difference we're talking about here!

Last time i was at AFAN i was getting ready in the car park and a lycra clad bloke getting his Giant anthem out the car had his forks round the wrong way, i waited to see if he was going to change them (i though might of been loosened off for the journey) but he got ready and started to ride off, i shouted after him, and he explained the the caliper had to go at the front of the forks to give bette braking :? and i said but all your geometry is out look:?
He basically told me i was wrong and F off

    Some do reverse forks intentionally.
