I'm getting some specialized storm 2.0's for Christmas. And my mum won't let me use them until then!
I'm in major need of a new front tyre as it popped on a jump and now has two small holes in the sidewall. The rear is reasonsbly worn.

I'm using the oe specialized captain 2.0's. Id like to move to the 2.2's. Does any one ride a camber and have gone bigger on rubber? I'm running reba's and this is where I may struggle.

All help would be great.

  • Ps. Im going for the same tyres as they are cheap and light. I have no real problems with grip. I'm just a bigger boy and would like a little more contact on the track.

Iv also just found some tubeless valves and I believe that specialized tape up the dt Swiss 445' rims ready to go?

Forks are not normally the problem, it's the back end that is likely to have clearance issues.

Very true, was just letting him know that specialized do fit bigger tyres as standard on the camber than what he was thinking of fitting,so he shouldn't be worried, i run a purgatory 2.2 on my hardrock with recon fork with no issues, and they are big volume tyres
