rear hub squeek

I have an 09 specialized roubiax elite which has sealed bearing cartridges and my rear wheel hub is squeaking and no longer runs smooth.

I want to access the cartridges but can't get in! The cones have grub screws on which I have removed however they don't slide off the axle and the cones are perfectly round i.e. I can't use a cone spanner to undo them.

Does anyone know these wheels and if

a. the hub is sealed, can't replace the bearings
b. can be repaired but needs a tool/technique

If option a applies I might just buy a cheap pair of training wheels with serviceable bearing cartridges as apposed to buying a complete hub and attempting to wheel build!

Thanks in advance

Steve

If the cones appear to held by a grub-screw then suggest they're a tight, sliding-fit and you need to give the spindle a firm tap with a mallet to get them moving. Expect the spindle slides-out on drive side and you'll get access to the bearings press-into the hub body.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

If you have sealed cartridge bearings you shouldn't have any cones :?
