Pedals

After some new pedals for my Commencal Absolute as the Primo pedals that are on it atm offer little to no grip whatsoever.
Want something nice and grippy and as light as possible as i want to keep overall weight to a minimum.
Used to use DMR V8s back in the day and liked those, so that's a possibility. Any other recommendations?
Thanks

I've got Wellgo MG1s on one bike, and Superstar Nanos on another.
The Wellgos are much lighter for the same money, but I prefer the feel of the Superstar ones.

The Wellgos look like good value for money tbh. Liking the look of the superstars as well but a bit more expensive

Superstar Nano for me. Good size platform and very grippy.----
Widge.

DMR Vaults. Wide platform, thin, light and grippy as hell. Satisfyingly expensive.
Nearest I've used in a cheap alternative for that much grip was Wellgo B54s. Similar platform, but too thick really.
Got the Vaults on a number of recommendations for something like the B54s, then loved them so much got another pair for my 456 build.0 -
Kona Wah Wah
Just bought a pair of these myself, exactly the same as Superstar Nano Thru Pin pedals, apart from branding and colour.0 -

Nanos great platform bit heavier but you can upgrade the axle to titanium if weight is a serious issue.
I use Nanos and prefer them to my old Mg1s like CWNT says.
I found the Mg1 a bit narrow for my karvers to sit comfy on.0 -
I had nano's for a year and really didn't rate them so bought these: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=58836
Azonic flats, best pedals I've ever had!I love the sound my tyres make on dusty single track!0 -
I've always been really happy with the DMR V12 pedals, never had any issues.
Currently running the DMR Vaults which are better again IMO.0 -
Well they couldn't be worse than the V12 ;-)0
