Boardman HT Pro vs Grand Canyon AL 8.0 - Any Advice?

I'm looking to buy a new bike and am in two minds between the boardman ht pro and grand canyon al 8.0 - any advice?
I seem to be able to find lots of glowing reviews on the boardman but as the Canyons are new in the UK there a not many reviews available? From everything I have seen though e Canyons look good.
Do I go for the safe option of the Boardman HT Pro or the slightly less well known but higher spec grand canyon al 8.0...?
Any help appreciated!
Cheers,
Will.

Personally I'd go for the Boardman. At least you can feel one first before joining the love in.I don't do smileys.

hmm... I have a bordman and a canyon... both great bikes!0 -
I like the setup of the Canyon better - the general positioning "looks" more my style, whereas the Boardman looks a lot more upright and not quite so streamline to ride. It is a problem though not being able to see the Canyon before buying it...0

also might be a idea to have them double check the bearings before setting off as there were some issues with the bottom bracket bearings within some boardmans recentlyLondon2Brighton Challange 100k!
