be sad to see them go, they made some great forks. such a shame that they had to move production to Asia, their forks just can't compete like they did a couple years back.

delcol reaches for the tinopener....
grabs the can of worms..
and sits back to watch....
thank,, foooooooooooook they were shit.... i had some 08 55 atas paid silly money for them and had nothing but trouble with them after i had them rebuilt for the 3rd time and they developed the same fault (loosing all the oil and collapsing) i decided to bin them.. leaving me £800 out of pocket not counting the further £800 i had to spend to get a new pair of forks....
so good riddence in my opinion.....www.bearbackbiking.com

08-09 were crap because they moved factories.
The older stuff made in Italy are still some of the best forks out there.0 -
yeah i had some marzoccs on my 06 rockymountain they still going to this day....
i remember them moving production out to aisia to save money and it backfired on them as the quality suffered big time,, then muggins here purchased some, and had his fingers burned....
still good riddence, i still out of pocket. :roll:www.bearbackbiking.com

The Old Bombers are Cracking forks, not the lightest but Brilliant! my '04's were used every weekend from new and only in '09 did i open them up and service them! the oil in there looked as good as new when it came out!
Brilliant!
is a great shame they are in difficulties but as with many big manufacturers out there, its not a good time to hve an iffy reputation to build up, and finding the money for the reseach and development of New products isnt easy! Hoopefully they'll get back on their feet again!!Timmo.

They'll come back, the name is worth too much. RS nearly went down the pan in the early 00s, but now are the strongest brand out there.0

My 2004 Bomber mx's are still going strong on my HT, still smooth and never had a minutes problem with them. And to think I only paid £199 for them back then!0

They didnt have to move production to Asia they were just being greedy custards trying to get them built down to a price. Which went well.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0 -
The old school bombers were the best forks around for many years. There was a time that every bike you saw was wearing a pair of Z1's0
