looking 9 year olds first racing game for x-box,not f1 or anything boring like that lol

What about something like Forza?

If he's quite new to racing games and stuff, he can turn on all the driver assists (the usual stuff, plus things like assisted braking, racing line displayed on screen) so can sort of grow into it.

Rally games are always good for a laugh. Something like Dirt3 is supposed to be ok I think (never played it myself).

pretty fun yeah, def for a 9 year old as its more about crashing lol!

The other once is Blur, my nephew has thats and its quite good... more like a modern mario cart!

It's ok. Good to kill a bit of time as its not too serious. It's not just straight-up racing either, you do all sorts of driving based japery.

Gan be had for hardly any money too, think I paid a tenner for mine, about a year ago.

What about Dirt 3? he can play around in Gymkhana and race in the same game.

It's one of those sandbox racing games, where you can litterally just drive around without actually racing.
