After an 8 week wait, here is my new Canyon Nerve AM 6.0!

Haven't had the chance to ride it properly yet, hopefully will this weekend!

They Must have taken into account peoples troubles with cable rub around the BB as they have routed the gear cables inside the frame

Spec list as follows, the website states that the rear shock should be an evolution but it says performance series on it which is specced on the AM 7.0. They do state that it can be modified without notice. Which I am pleased about as it seems to have a better shock.

Does anyone know the difference between the evolution and performance shocks?

    Looking good there,

It's the rear brake hose routing around the BB that is causing the rubbing issues not the gear cables. From the pictures yours is routed correctly it goes under the BB not over the top the is a thread somewhere on the forum with pictures.

Looking very nice, according to supersonic the evolution series are there new entry level kit, which are supposed to be a little up in weight and built without the cartridge dampers, please don't ask me what that means  i would guess that the performance series are just the normal kit without the kashima coating, so i wouldn't complain too loudly about the rear  i must say your saddle looks much sleeker than the one on the 2011 model

I managed to fit in a short ride yesterday. I was worried that the evolution fork would feel a bit basic compared to my old RS Rev with motion control but the fork feels so controlled, I am really impressed.
It's the first time that I have used pro pedal and all I can say is that it works very well! When standing and pedalling it completely removed any pedal bob. The rear shock in general felt really good helped by the feel of the suspension design.
So far I am a very happy customer :!:

  • Hi, anyone know what size thru axle I would need for my canyon nerve am 6.0 2012 model? I missed placed mine after a ride putting bike in care :( i.e. left it on the floor like a plonker!
