Shimano SLX 20mm and setting hub tool

Hi mtb's.I have an problem with my SLX 20 mm front hub and it is need a service.According to shimano documentations i have to have two cone spanners and shimano setting hub tool,so Do I really will have need of this hub tool or can go without it? Thank you very much
