Hello, I have been looking for a good mountain bike for a few months now and I cannot decide what to choose. I am looking for a small mens mountain bike with good suspension and disk brakes.
My height is 164cm but growing rapidly. I am looking for a bike in the under £250 budget which would suit me for the next two years or so.
Please ask if more info is needed.

Define good suspension?
What I would say was 'good' front suspension costs £200 alone.
Second hand is prob a better option for that money.0 -
If you want to use it as a mountain bike, then about the cheapest bike (new) that will do the job is the Carrera Vengeance (aka last years Vulcan) http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165499 wait until it's on sale (probabbly January now) you should be able to get it for close to £250)
Otherwise you are better off looking for a good used bike.

You are kiding yourself if you think you can get dcent suspension and disk brakes for £250....
