Kids Xmas Present Advice

I 'm thinking about getting a pair of these for the twins this Xmas.

I expect they will a tad expensive but surely the weight savings will be worth it?

    I like the idea, but I think poorly executed. Aluminium frame and V brakes would save a lot more weight, and be a lot cheaper.

    They seem unnecessary. A kid doesnt know what a "light" and a "heavy" bike are, its just a bike.

    Ill give my usual advice on bikes for the younger generation..

    Islabikes. they are light enough, strong enough and hold value very well..

    To be honest I can't imagine spending that amount of money on a childs bike, I don't know the actual cost but I'd be surprised if they where this side of £1000.000.

    It looks fantastic! however I think it would be a bit of an extravagant purchase for a 6 year old.
