I bought some - they were going cheap on CRC and I needed some "warm but not too warm" gloves so it semed like a good idea at the time.

On the positive side the fit well, are warm and are not at all bulky. Plus they are Seeyourhandsignalsinthedarktastic.

However they are also a bit Michaeljacksonthrilleresque and I'm sure they won't stay bright white for long.

never had white gloves but i'm sure they're a bit like white bar tape - look good once then they start to show their age. Having said that, if they were cheap, why not...

At least I can put white gloves in teh washing machine, bar tape is a different proposition. My Bianchi i recently bought has white bar tape, that definately needs changing. I'm tempted to go for Italian flag stripes - or is that too tarty?

Not going to be easy to get a good wrap on tri coloured tape though, might have to get some gel pads to go under the contact spots.

I imagine it wil be easier without pads as the bars will be more uniform in shape making it easier to keep the overlap consistent. or have I missed something?
