Thread loc recommendations

I have some creaking that I have traced to my link and horst. Bearings and spacerrs etc are in good condition. The temptation is to grease the bolts and crank them up a bit, but the right thing to do is to redo the thread locks. Any recommendations on thread lock? I paid about £7 for a tiny amount last time and it barely covered 6 bolts.

looked in the FAQs?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Loctite 243 (10ml) is about £8.50, google shopping search gives a few options.0

Before you get stuck in with the threadlock I would try a little grease under the heads of the bolts sometimes it makes all the difference.
Failing that blue Loctite 248 works well on bike bits that have to come apart sometimes. Halfords sell it £6 or £7 IIRC it lasts ages.
For full-on hardcore threadlockers, have a look on www.cromwell.co.uk0 -
I've done the grease under the heads and on the shaft trick, it works for a couple of rides, but then the squeaks come back.0
