Bike lock recommendations
I want to buy a lock for my bike, for when I need to pop in to the post office, bank etc. but after watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AdugFzC ... re=related posted on a earlier topic. I feel no lock is going to up to the job. But something has got to be better than nothing. After reading a few articles on the internet I’ve come to the conclusion that cable locks are pointless. Chains are better, But are not as secure as D-locks but D-locks aren’t very compact and easy to carry as chains. So my question is has any one got any recommendation for a lock to use on a £500 bike for the odd 15min while going into the shop.

As long as it’s not the lock with a round key, watch at about 1:25 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCxHD9_uEf8
I guess flat keys are the way to go like this one. £100 = 20% off £500 bike thats the recommended price of lock. Isn’t it? http://www.evanscycles.com/products/kry ... k-ec012205
Or if someone is walking around with 3ft bolt cropper, but if they are, then you just can’t beat a bit of bad luck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ip5QoMFyi0
