It's some local tradition that they have in the town (in Sweden). Every year it gets burned down (And I've just been explaining this to my minion, whilst laughing about it) a couple of weeks into Christmas.

I'm not sure why they do it, is it meant to get burnt on Christmas or something? Makes me laugh thinking about it though

This year, those trying to protect the goat doused it in water with the idea that if it freezes, it will be much more difficult to burn down, according to daily Aftonbladet.

However, perhaps due to the unusually mild weather, their idea didn’t quite work out.
