Orange 5 custom build

This is my brand new Orange 5 which I had custom built by LBS. Had the first ride yesterday and my god it's good! Weighs around 29lb with heavy (1.25lb) pedals. Just ploughs through, over and above everything. Pedals well uphill and feels alive and poised along single track. Running tubeless and had loads of grip in the mud. :P
Inside (nasty blackberry camera)
Outside (nice Nikon camera)

Is that an XTR double chainset?
Nice, apart from the standard issue QR Seatclamp.0 -
Yes, running 2x10. The seat clamp will be replaced as soon as I've found one I like. Any pointers?0

That's because you misinterpreted it.
If all I can find fault with is the seatclamp then there can't be much wrong with the rest of it :roll:
A Thomson non QR or similar would be the icing on a rather nice cake, the devils in the detail.
@ASK1974
Have you run into any problems when changing from big ring to small, according to Orange neither the XTR980 or XTR985 doubles will work because the narrower Q factor causes pivot clearance issues.0 -
Only the one ride so far and shifting was slick every time. No clearence issues at all.0

Big Orange fan.
Would it look better without wheel decals? There a bit distracting when stationery but bet they look cool when spinning 8)Up: Wilier Mortirolo
