  • Don't be soft :P its actually not that bad. Finished work at 0600. And just finished my local wood route and it wasn't too bad at all. Lots of broken branches everywhere and a friendly dog walker.
Time for some bacon butties, few cans of wife beater and then bed till 1400. Then a night ride round Healey Nab while the missus sorts someones hair out tonight.

I'm still waiting for someone to clarify the rules on what constitutes a "Morning" thread.

Should I have waited until 02.36 after posting in CS to start one or would that have still been to early? :?

Anyways, a good day yesterday finally getting "Team Bank" sorted, sod all planned for today, may get blown down the road later for a pint, if I can be bothered, may just stay home, heating and films on, in bed, getting squiffy.

    Love n hugs

i need to fix my bike. i bent my front skewer, bent my front rim, i might have bent my forks and bars as well after landing a big dirt jump to flat yesterday. i managed not to get too badly hurt actually. i only have a sore shoulder and a big friction burn from the tyre on my shin. hopefully i won't have to spend too much on fixing it

You have to have slept from midnight onwards on the day in question, therefore (obviously) posting the thread up after waking up. :)

I'll acknowledge this thread seeing as DD's been cheating...

Uni work to do today, then some Battlefield 3, then some more uni work, then watching the F1 and tennis later while pretending to work.

Out Fri and Sat, so today will be spent doing fuck all, apart from xbox and watching football.

    alright everyone

yesterdays hangover has melted in to the background, i have just been putting miss k's xmas presents away before she gets home and just had a double bacon sandwich with loads of orange juice.

Need to clean the bike at some point but i have got a fair bit to do this afternoon!
  • Ah, a real Sunday Thread not some "pretentious" just past midnight claim to fame..
I think what defines a "good morning" Thread is the fact it is/was created at a time that some people actually awaken to commence their day, so 3.30AM onwards, anything before that is a fail

Today it's windy as hell, perhaps I should attach the kite to the commuter and have some fun
Brazilian GP today, I'd like to see the McLarens get beaten just one more time before the the new season and much more importantly, see Jenson Button own Hamilton's @ss again.

Right, got things to do, places to go before the GP kicks off
  • Afternoon!

Well, I downloaded Civilisation last night, on Steam. Stayed up till 2 playing it. I envisage that my time will be wasted on this game, but God I love it!

Practise this afternoon, then pub in the evening* before driving back to Leeds.

shiiiit i think i bent my whole left side of the fork :(
i might need to get new forks because i'm having real aligning issues here. the wheel doesn't rub only when one side of the qr skewer is like half way out of the droput but that means that the rotor would be at a really weird angle.
i'm thinking of buying some used marzocchi 66s(2007 or earlier) and lower them to 150mm/160mm and then put them back to 180mm when i get a new frame next year
PS. they'll be 20mm thru axle, so none of this crappy 9mm QR

    You've given a sperm sample.

I did that about 8 years ago and am helping him with his school project.

    Afternoon Bumnuggets,

I've been out to the countryside for a slap up full English and loads of coffee with some mates :)

I'm about to be dragged off to a garden centre to buy things about which I know nothing :? Then an putting IKEA storage type things together with an allen key and some oddly drawn instructions. Tonight I'll hunt down the last of the body armour I need on t'internet.
