Blimey. I failed 4 of those. (one *was* deliberately jumping out of an otherwise serviceable aircraft, though)

In that case I hope you're in the "wears a helmet" camp!

How would a helmet have helped when I sliced through the cable on my electric lawn mower?
Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.

I think Joffff's suggesting that, with your "luck", a helmet might not be a bad idea....

    I tend to agree

In fact, I'd be recommending you have this permanently attached

It's all well and good until a wasp gets inside it!

Had that too, actually. Horsefly or something bounced off my face and landed inside my jersey. I'd just about stopped when it bit me.
Oscar, Mike, Foxtrot Golf did that hurt. I've still got a tiny scar.

Of course I then tried taking my jersey off to make sure it had gone. Turns out a jersey won't come off over a helmeted head, so I was more or less stuck, bare-chested and with a jersey over my face and my arms wedged in somehow. I must have looked superb. :-)

See.. helmets, they're an impediment to safety.
