For forks sake, is it worth it?

Hello,
I own a Felt Q620 hardtail which is mainly used for short weekend local rides and also night rides at Dalby in the winter, I use my EX8 for everything else. Anyway the XCM fork is gettting a bit old so I'm wanting to replace them, I was thinking either one of these:

http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FORSRECGLDAIR/rockshox_recon_gold_tk_solo_air_100mm_fork_with_poplock
I was also wanting to upgrade my brakes to hydralic from mechanical and was looking at some SLX's. So is it worth spending the extra on the air fork and are any better value for money?
Thanks.
