Fitting carbon steerer forks

Hi
After a large crash last year I've got my new frame, a Giant Advanced SL TCR (Thank you very much wiggle) I've fitted many a head set ove the years but this is my first in a carbon frame or a carbon steerer .. let alone both, I was relieved to see that the headset basically sits in place rather than having to be forced into place like in the past, but I am a bit confused by the race and it going on the fork, it doesn't seem to go all the way down under hand pressure and wobbles a little .. is this something that will sort itself out when everything is under pressure ... or should I take it to a LBS (Didn't want to take a wiggle bike to a LBS)
Cheers

i'd take it to the lbs, you could improvise, but they'll have the tools+experience
as long as you're paying they won't blame wiggle :-)my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0
