Still undecided as to bike choice for Merida Brass Monkeys1 on Sunday despite my thread last week...

Not too worried about comfort...more mechanicals....tyres in particular (which historically I have had shit luck in events with!

Quick poll -

1 - Zesty 514 - tubeless
2 - boardman pro HT - tubes

Help! - I just don't want to come last!

    Pro HT all day long. Just teh wieght saving will be invaluable for you.

    Boardman for me. But if you're not riding competitively, then just take the one you actually feel like riding, the difference isn't enough to matter.

    Agree - go for the comfier one.

    And you won't come last - I managed to not come last earlier in the year with a black eye. broken ribs, and I was an idiot and let about a million people past me out of politeness :lol:
