I don't know what I want for Xmas

I was thinking about asking for an Exposure Joystick and a Redeye to stick on the back, but I think I already look like an Xmas tree.

Short of a TT or CX frame which a) I wouldn't get and b) asking for would lead to me getting my balls cut off, I can't think of anything I want.

Anyone else in the same position?

Every time I go to a party all everyone says they want for christmas is 'you', whatever the f*ck 'you' is.

    Bound to be good.

Just stuck a Diablo and Redeye on my lid.
*MUST* remember not to give glare of death to idiot drivers/peds/RLJs when blindness may result from said glare.

My dilemma is which new pump to ask for.
What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?

Just remember that presents are treats.

They should always be something that you "want", not something that you "need".
I guess that's how you define "need" though
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

I'm aware that presents are treats, but Mrs A and I usually set a budget and then get each other something to that value. That's usually to stop me overspending on her.

This year we can't even set a budget.

I mentioned that I wanted lights and that there were several solutions I was looking at. When I tentatively said it would cost more than £50 Mrs A was a little shocked that a light could cost more than that.

She's not specifically asked how much my Strada was and so I've not told her.

    Ah!

Never ask for a gift that can be perceived as over priced. That's what the internet and work delivery was invented for
Always try to ask for things that are perceived to have a higher value, i.e. bargains.
I asked for a pair of noise cancelling headphones (a few long haul flights coming up). £60 would have appeared expensive for "only" a pair of headphones but the recommended retail price is £150 so they were a "bargain" Sorted. :P

yes, told my nearest and dearest not to bother with my Birthday or Christmas a week later, I'll treat myself to something nice when I find something I like and let 'em know what it is. the distant people have been instructed to get me amazon vouchers that I'll convert to music or kindle stuff.

I really don't get the big hoo-ha about these sort of things now I'm over 12.

I dont actually need or really want anyting material that is but i do still like something that's personal ie something cycling related (Rapha or Castelli) perhaps.

I also like to think i'm pretty good at present giving, after all shopping is sort of what i do for a living :D

Yeah, I saw that in another thread.

Wine is my third favourite thing (after my family and riding bikes) so maybe I should focus my search efforts there.
