Formula The One Brakes same front and rear?

Hi,
I am looking to buy some Formula The One Brakes and the rear ones are cheaper. Can I buy a rear one and cut the hose down and use it on the front? Looks like the levers can be used either way up (think thats what it means by flip flop?) and the calipers are the same? Is the only difference the hose length?
