Mavic Exalith Rims - Brake Pads?

Hi All,
Anyone using wheels with the new exalith rims? I've just been offered the SLE rather than SL Cosmic's and trying to work out if there is any downside.
Also, if I changed between normal alloy rims and the exalith (I have Ksyrium Elite's already), would I have to change the pads over or would the Mavic Exalith pads be ok on normal alloy too?
Thanks

Fine if you don't mind the deeper profile, but concerning the coating, there's this thread, in which a Mavic rep contributes to, is interesting and may help your query.

I use them. When the rims are new and not coated with the pads they make a terrible squealing sound, but after a few 30 - 40 milers it starts to go away.
Then its all good.. Braking performance is superb and the squealing noise is replaced with something that sounds like the Batmobile slowing down.
And no to being able to use them on other rims0
