Giant Revel 3 Fork Upgrade

Hi all,
I want to change the lame 63mm forks on my bike. I have read on other threads about changing geometry issues and i am struggling to come up with a suitable fork. The new fork would need to be v brake specific which is narrowing the field even more. At the moment the best option would appear to be a RS Tora 302 set at 85mm. I mainly only ride xc and canal paths (plus road use to get to canal) but would like the option of being a bit more adventurous as well.
Questions i could do with advise on are;
1. Would a 63 - 85mm increase cause too much of a geometry change? Or for that matter setting it at 100mm?
2. Does anyone have any other 80mm v brake specific options?
3. Is the Tora the best available option anyway?
I don't mind going doen the second hand route by the way.
Cheers,
BFD

Anything up to 100mm should be fine, but very few V brake forks about nowadays.
I think I have some spare, will message you.0 -
