Had a white one on my pitch for 6 months before it was nicked. Very good build quality, reasonably comfy and cleaned very well for being white. It's the same saddle as a charge spoon IIRC. Just rebadged at the factory i seem to recall hearing a few times.

Only thing i would say is that it's very flexy, you can feel it flex under you and i'm only ten stone. This produced a creaking noise now and again and you could feel the creaking through your arse.

ooh, ten stone. i'm 14 and a bit. might not be too good for me then :?

does that mean that the charge spoon will be the same?

I would say it would be the same, as it is the same saddle just rebranded. How about a SDG Bel Air. Very comfy saddle.

yeah i had the bel air on my old bike. i'm just looking for a cheap saddle for my hardtail that i only really use for commuting so i want it to be cheap, but i'm being a tart and want it in white

Mate I have it in brown, it's actually ver comfortable and it's stood up to 12 months abuse on my specialized with no dramas. Really happy with it and at 17st it gets more abuse than most guys give it.

It's not quite identical to the Spoon, but very very similiar- same chassis and general construction. Gusset R is another. The Gusset comes in some brilliant colours...

Kev I have a spoon and a flux, I weight 12stone odd, the flux is not as comfy as the spoon and feels a little harsh on long rides, in fact they both do really but the spoon is the better of the 2.

Ive had charge spoon saddles on a couple of old bikes and im currnetly using a flux on my HT, both are good seats for the money with very little to seperate them interms of performance only a couple of small cosmetic touches and both can be had for less than £20 which is a win in my book :D
