I like riding, if it's on a MTB, and needs suspension, it is real mountain biking.
End of.

Ride where you want, stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and get over it.0 -
Pffft at those who want to lock a thread before its even started, shame on you!
I think its an interesting topic, I love a quick blast at my local tc's but all the most
Memorable rides are those big natural epic ones where you return home bloodied,
Battered and totally ruined... That to me feels like real mountain biking
Of course there's room for all kinds of riding and each to their own and all that,
Just wander what all your opinions are?0 -
That's because you are 'REAL MAN' and my new hero.
We are just pussies and wimps and grovel in your magnificence.
Could I have an autographed photo to keep under my pillow?

I do not think irony means what you think it means.CycloRos wrote:And of course when I say REAL mountain biking, I say it firmly with my tongue in my cheek
And I'm not sure that's really your tongue. Are you originally from Rhyl?I don't do smileys.

mountain biking is making the most of what you got its easy for people who live in Scotland or Cumbria and north wales where there is a mountain range of sorts to go and climb then rip down. im lucky ihave Llandegla and Delamere forrest on my doorstep as for Snowdon its a bit far to go every weekend. but people who live in Norfolk what have they got the flatest county in Britain how far do they have to travel to get anything that resembles a mountainfalling off doesn't hurt....its the landing that hurts
