Shimano Acera and broken hanger

Somehow during a recent ride I have managed to snap of the hanger? to which the mech screws into and attaches to the bike. The bike is a Mongoose Tyax and the standard mech are Shimano Acera.
I would like fix by the weekend but not sure whether there is a specific hanger for the bike or whether its specific to the mech? Any ideas, cheers.

Not to the mech, that's standard. The hanger fits to the frame. Contact a mongoose dealer for spare.

BETD sell them, and plenty on Ebay but you do need the hanger number. Specs might be on Mongoose website.I don't do smileys.

£20.00 it cost me for my snapped hanger for a GT i was totally :shock: to say the least0
