Sigma Sport, Kingston - praise where it is due!

I tried to fit an 11sp Campag cassette to an oldish Mavic Ksyrium wheel only to find that the largest cog fouls the hub flange. New hubs have been modified to eliminate the problem.
A quick Google search shows that Mavic produce/sell a 0.55mm spacer to fix the problem for the older wheels. I don't have a local bike shop that would stock such a thing so I trawled the internet. Sigma Sport were the only shop that listed them, and they claimed to have them in stock, so I phoned them. Helpful bloke says yep, you need them, £1.00 each. I need two says I.
Helpful bloke says I'll confirm stock and phone you back. An hour later, I'd almost given up hope, when he phoned back, yes he says, got two in my hand. I pointed out to them that a card transaction would be a bit daft for £2.00 plus post and asked what I could do. No worries says says the SigmaSport man, give me your address and I'll just stick them in the post, FOC. Next time you come in (which might well be months, I told him) just settle up, or if you want put a couple of quid in a children's charity collection box, that would be fine too.
They arrived the next day. Top bloke, top shop.
I've been in the shop a few times and the new store is very special indeed, making BMW car showrooms look a bit dull and drab. My riding buddies and I have spent a lot of money in there over the last few years and service has always been excellent. Highly recommended!!
