Fox 36 talas vs Marzocchi 44 rc3

Hi All, After some advice.....I have returned my Fox's twice in the last 6 months (creaky steerer tube and talas not working properly, same issue on both ocassions). The forks have now been completely rebiult with only the lower forks legs being the original, and for the first time they are working great.

Has anyone else had the same issues as me ?
If so - has the problem come back?

And should I cut my losses and look at an alternative fork?

Any views on the Marzocchi 44 RC3?

Any help advise would be great.....
