I have recently ridden a Jekyll and thought it was great. However, I have my concerns about the shock and other small things like the disc brake calliper adapters - quirky cannondale just make things difficult I think.

Does anybody have any experience with this bike?? Opinions etc?

Cheers very much.

what are your concerns about the shock ?
  • My friend got a claymore (similar but more travel).

He loves it, I asked about the rear shock and apparently as Fox make it it will always be available, and probably about £500.

Is Mojo the official Fox service centre? Give them a call to make sure they can fix it for you and get in spares if required.

with regards to the special brake adaptor. I guess Cannondale have fully tested it to make sure its up to the job. Also no idea if brake adaptors break a lot but I wouldn't have thought so. Should be a fit and forget part ?

The Dyad is pretty specific to Cannondale for the "on the fly" travel adjustment from 90 to 150mm travel...although it is specific to Cannondale you will be able to get it serviced at Mojo the only Fox certified service centre in the UK though TF tuning also do Fox and are a lot cheaper (I think better in past experiences)...anyway a service will cost £80-100 every year.

As for the caliper mountings, there is nothing to worry about, just because the caliper sits high from the frame is nothing specific to Cannondale....the larger the rotor the higher in general trhe caliper will be from trhe frame...

If the world was flat, I wouldn't be riding !
  • I guess I am just not used to change and the shock is a big difference to what I am used to.

It is a different bike altogether but my other option was the Stumpjumper Comp EVO 2012. Must more for your money......... though with the obvious difference of no travel adjustment.

    Hey ho.
