Any Blue Pig owners out there want to share some wisdom on their bike? i'm hopefully ordering one on saturday so wanted a bit of realy worl/long term test opinions of the ragley.
Whats good about it, whats bad about it?

No probs with X7 I have a mix of shifters and mechs on three bikes. Not as bling as X9 or XT but it's not cheap and nasty.0

cheers
going down to the shop to have a bit of a ride and check them both out!0 -
My X7's Broke, when I looked into the matter it appeared that it is not uncommon for the springs inside to go so the levers don't spring back..I replaced mine with X9's0

I have X7 2x10. The front shifter bust on mine as mentioned above. Got it replaced under warranty without a fight, but they sent me a 3 speed shifter by mistake. Got an LBS to fit it for me and it now works better than ever.
Overall would say X7 works well, feels a little clunky at times though, and i have nothing to compare it to.0 -
thread updated to get a bit more of an opinion before i spend my bike savings account on a bike!0

I prefer Sram shifters to Shimano, the MTB runs an X7 front which has given me no issues at all, and a Rocket rear (looks pretty much X7 bar the pull ratio) has just fone on as well, activating LX front and XT rear mechs.
SimonCurrently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
I run X7 on both bikes with X5 shifters and haven't had any problems with either. Saying that I never had problems with XT and Deore!Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
