Mahnin ahl. Before I unleash the rubber mallet, what's the best way to remove this 12mm through axle:

Presumably I loosen the clamps (both sides) and then...does the axle unscrew or push out? From what direction?

I've read the manual but there's no description

Cheers

undo clamping bolts. undo end caps and you will see.

both or either way it depends on which way round it was fitted last time.

    OK thanks Nick.

Does the axle screw into the drop-outs?

The axle came out fairly easily. Undo the clamp bolts, unscrew the cap on the driveside of the axle and pull the axle out from the non-driveside.

    Assembled totally dry
