There are a few a little further afield, depends how far you want to ride, one near Melton, I think is called Sweethedges? Or is it Lake View, stuffed if I can remember and the club web site is offering no help.

DD is right, not that many good cycing cafes about (there might be further out) most of the ones i use when out and about are part of a Garden Centre (plenty of them about), infact the cafe at Wistow near me (about 5 miles south from your hotel) does some AMAZING cakes! a lot of nice scenery out that way too...
