Time to replace my commencal
My choices are the ex9 or remedy 9

Can't decide what better for uk trail centres
The ex climb's good. But don't know if it will be limited downhill

Hi my mate was in the same position when he looked at an upgrade of his EX8 in the end he plumped for the EX9 and regreted it...he is a good rider and he thinks the new EX9 is a bit tighter and does not feel that relaxed...he has now demo'd a few Remedy's and reckons they climb as well as his EX8...

I think it all depends on your riding style..if your a more aggresive rider I would go for the remedy....as for my mate..he is looking to get rid of the EX9 which is mint !!

I had a commie too, but wanted something bigger. Tried an ex8 but wasn't impressed. Couldn't get hold of a remedy for a test ride so ended up trying an enduro and then bought it.
So, even though doesn't strictly answer your question, it does show I preferred the slacker angles and bigger travel.

I met a guy at Cannock at the weekend who was on a Remedy. He was very pleased with it and reckoned the extra travel was no hinderance on the climbs.

Having gone up to 150mm on my HT I'd be looking at something like a Remedy over the more XC Fuel EX.
