I've no idea what to expect today... hoping for a short week. Will most likely be helping one of the supervisors with some new starters (as per usual)

Might clean the bike but I doubt that'll happen.

    Mornin numb nuts!

    Today, I don't know what's happening. I do know that I'm getting my holiday card filled in before I forget/miss out/lose the plot. I will also be keeping my eye on Amazon, as it's Black Friday week, and they put on amazing offers, so there's a heads up for you all, with Chrimbo around the corner.

    Anywho, this house is freezing, and this tea won't drink itself.

    Today will consist of having far too much to do and not enough time to do it and on top of all my work I need (and want) to find time to watch the prelims of the Regimental Boxing, I've got 3 minions fighting today. It's going to be a late one!

    Morning Homos,

    Popping into work for a few hours this morning. The plan is to statrt back 3 mornings a week, and the rest from home until I can manage full days without being in agony.

    Also planning on testing my leg this morning by trying to fit into the back of a car (without cast on). This should give me an idea of how hard it will be to get seated on the plan on weds. Fingers crossed for that one.

    Watched a documentary last night on the BBC about battlefield surgeons, seeing some of those injuries (mostly full/partial amputations of lower limbs) certainly put things into perspective for me. Time to MTFU methinks!

    Morning all.

    I'm tired (it took me 5 minutes to work out this was the morning thread :lol:). Have started getting back out on the bike more and more since passing my driving test in January and getting fat and lazy.. did a quick 20 mile loop yesterday and felt the pain, but in a good way. Suffering a little today though!

    In work early as I'm off to a conference in Spain this weekend, so have a ton of work to get done.

    Was supposed to book my wedding venue yesterday too, but the wedding planner was off sick.. no phonecall to tell me this.. grr

    No signs of bacons yet, this will have to change soon. Mass amounts of tea will see me though the day! Have a good one you 'orrible lot.

    Relaxing in b&b on south coast after 2 hrs of meh last night trying to get out of London. On the brightside bacons await and 2 days of non work with mrs p.

    Busy day today... I'm off to Cannock, full XC loop me thinks then a bit of a play at Stile Cop. Sorted.

    Then go home, clean bike, shower, do a bit of work, eat food, get on train back down to London... then another 4 weeks of being without a bike follows. Arse. Whoever thought I'd miss the lovely Burton-on-Trent...

    Anyways I'm off to enjoy myself while I can. Laters.

    I've been at work for 2 hours and I'm so stressed I could hit somebody.

    Instead I hit the photocopier after it decided to display the 'copy warm up after start button pushed start' message and the screen's gone all funny.
    Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

    Great ride yesterday around Whaley Bridge/Hayfield area lovely up on the tops above the mist.

    Put some shelter tape on the Trek and now feel it's indestructible ( ps what's left is up for sale see classifieds)

    Tax returns this week :( but usually get something back :)

    Thought I'd check in as i haven't in a while :) got out on Sunday for a bit of a go round Cwm, taking a danish friend of mine who has just moved to the country, actuall climbing came as a slight shock to his system, poor fella, but will give him credit for manning up and getting on and round with a grin :)

    Fun ride was had yesterday, bit of XC then a few bombhole runs and drops etc, decided to call it a day when a mate went down harder than paris hilton! and also i Flew a little more than i was comftable with :shock:
    Today i'm dealing with the fall out from the weekend where it apears that my Officers dont know wheat MTFU means! and Minion who handed in his notice in on friday is miraculasly gone off sick :roll:
