Spokecalculator? Mavic 717s and Shimano Alfine

Hi there,
I've bought an Alfine (8 speed, 32H) rear hub and I'm planning to build it into a Mavic 717 disch wheel using DT plain gauge spokes.
Has anyone used the spokecalculator on the DTswiss website? It allows you to select the rim from a drop-down menu but doesn't seem to allow this for the hub.
Or even better, has anyone built a similar wheel themselves and what size spokes did you order?
Many thanks

You will need to get the required dimensions from the hub or shimanos webby. And use DB spokes as they build a stronger wheel."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Thanks for the reply; will get cracking on that.
I always thought that DB spokes were lighter, not stronger???? What's the point of PG spokes then?0 -
PG cheaper to produce and dt also use differing alloys of stainless as you go up the range.0
