Hi
I'm getting hacked off with the Deore set on my Fuel 5.5. (a) it's a bit tired, and (b) although I'm not a great downhiller (obvious, given choice of bike) I like to hare down any bouncy piece of singletrack I can, and I a constantly struggling with chain slap / dropped chain.
Suggest me a solution instead of my current bog standard Deore set up....

Blackspire stinger should do the the trick for both problems. Thats if you have or go to a double ring up front. Since i've had mine, the chain hasnt come off and chain slap is much less. I also have a Lizard skins chainstay protector on as well.----

i'm on a triple, but as I intend to replace at least the crankset, that's not an issue...0 -
Won't solve chainslap, and Deore will not drop chains any worse than any other crankset.I don't do smileys.
