Buying a Turbo Trainer

Just wondering if there's much between them?
The owner of my LBS runs a two hour class on a Tuesday night with an hour of Turbo followed by an hour of Pilates which I fancied going to, but I need to take my own turbo, so I was looking to buy a reasonably cheap one and just wondered what makes the difference with them.
Appreciate the help.
Cheers

the difference depends on variable resistance and how easilly you get bored - the better ones, like the Tacx Fortius/Flow have a PC interface so you can ride with moving video pictures etc
well worth the money if you might spend hours on it
