Just getting a starter bike spending about £500 currently looking at Rock Rider 8.1 which seems to have fantastic spec for money but also seen a Cube Attention 2011 model discounted at my local bike shop on sale for £480 which seems a good deal too.
Any advice for beginner

Both decent bikes, but the rockrider is lighter and better specced. Try them oout, see what fits/feels best.0
