Cleat position on shoes

Hi,
Is it normal for cleats to clack around on the floor when positioned on the shoe? I've got Shimano MT42 shoes with the cleats that come with my M520's and they clack around when walking on concrete etc. Doesn't really promote being able to walk round off the bike.
Pedalling is comfortable and I don't seem to have any problems.
Thanks

Roadies walk funny as the soles on Roady shoes are Uber stiff and most often Gripless smooth carbon!
cleats will contact the floor with most spd shoes, if the cleats are recessed far enough to not hit the floor it can make engaging tricky! ive the 183 and they do it, get some very funny looks from the non cycling parents at school drop off/collection time when chinking away walking in very odd looking shoes! hahah! but then, a lot of parents didnt know you could have disc brakes on a push bike!
just think, shoes youve a Manly set of pedals!Timmo.

Mine do, I've just gotten used to the funny looks walking round uni! And also tend to file/sand the burrs down every month or so, but I walk in mine quite a bit.0
