Hi Guys
I have a Stumpjumper Evo and I need to install some new pedals on the Carbon Cranks.
I am installing standard clipless metal SPD pedals and wondered if i need special Carbon Fibre grease for the thread or can I use the same grease I use on my metal cranks (other bike)?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

and the cranks are?
is not the threaded bit a metal anyway so it makes no difference.
What does it say in the manual?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Cranks are Sram X0 cranks.
I was advised that carbon grease may be needed as although the pedal thread is metal, the cranks are carbon and the standard grease may not get on with the carbon?

so down load it the one you need for what you want.
grease on sealed carbon is not an issue."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Don't use carbon grease...
I've got the same cranks on my enduro, they have metal inserts, so your screwing metal pedals into metal inserts.
Touch of normal grease will be fine.
One place carbon grease is handy, is on the swivel head of the command post - assuming you have one.0
