hi
trying to fit shimano hydraulic disc brakes to replace avid bb5 on Specialized crosstrail comp.
Front - direct mount to fork easy.
Rear - mounts using adapter to rear stay but sits inside triangle with insufficient clearance to mount brake.
Anyone fitted this to theirs or any ideas gratefully received.
Thanks
Charlie

Have you tried using a smaller disc and associated calliper mount adapter? It's that or pick a 'smaller' (in the relevant directions) calliper.

use the disc and adaptor from the BB5s."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Many thanks for getting back so quickly.
Was mainly my literal interpretation of the arrow marking up on the adapter.
When I realised it could be direction of rotation (of wheel) fitted really easily.
Seem like they are going to be a very good upgrade, only ridden a little way to bed the pads in so far.
