Looking for suggestions for a decent quality set of disc brakes for my winter hack/commuter. Don't want to spend silly money.
Would consider second-hand if anyone in Radarland has anything to offload?

avid elixir 1 for £80 a set from Merlin. You'd have to buy mounts and discs for the deore.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

You really need to be more specific, what's on there now, how much you have to spend and usage......
You'll always get better value used.....
