I think they use the 240 hub but brand them as XR1450....If I am right then the kit you need is listed below.

    http://www.dtswiss.com/Products/Accesso ... front.aspx

To be sure you can contact them through the DT Swiss website

Speak to a DT Swiss dealer....someone like Evans, CRC or Westbrook who stock a massive range of DT components

They are mega helpfull and that's where I got my forks from

  • I'm comming with bad news..... after hours and hours fo searching , i find next:
    If impossible to change ->
*XR 1450 *nickel/weiss Prod.Code auf Nabe gelasert 'DT Pxxxx'
    5x100mm QR DT 240s *P2105* 9mm
    9x100mm RWS DT 240s *P2105* 5mm
    15x100mm DT 240s *P2393* -
It's only possible if you have a front-wheel like this ->
    Possible ->
    *
XR 1450 *weiss Prod.Code auf Nabe gelasert 'DT Pxxxx'
    ** 5x100mm QR DT 240s fifteen *P2551* 9mm/15mm
    ** 9x100mm RWS DT 240s fifteen *P2541* 5mm/15mm
    15x100mm DT 240s fifteen *P2510* 5mm/9mm

My wheels set code is finishing with 2393 so imposible ....
In fact , do you know how i could transform my fork in a 15mm fork ? Whick are the differences between normal fork and 15 mm fork? Only the axle?
    Thank you

Have you actually mailed someone at DT Swiss ??

You cannot convert a open QR fork to a QR 15 bolt through....think about it !
The only way would be to change your fork lowers.

Silly question why don't you buy the correct wheels for your current build...you can get the XR 1450 in either bolt though (12mm Rear/15mm Front) and QR in both front and rear !

  • I didn't buy the xr 1450 on quick release because i find an offer and i hope to find the neccesary conversion kit ! I pay only 370 euro(50%discount) for this wheelset , new from shop : bolt on on front , and quick release on rear!
I have only 2 way: to change the hub or to change the fork lowers....
    Thank you!

So if it is a 240 hub body then the QR conversion will fit...you unscrew the cones on your wheel and replace with the cones that take a QR skewer...buy a skewer then the wheel will fit on your forks...I hope you got the right hub for your current discs ?

  • The man from Dtswiss say this : You can use any part from 240s because it is the same , only rebranding ! But other one from dt shop say : because you have that code .... you cannot use the kit ....
Please , may you be a bit more expositive how i could transform my front wheel . I don't know what does mean "skewer"...
Yes , i buy the corect wheel reffering to disc ... with center lock
Thank you very much for all

So if DT say its a 240 hub body then yes you can change to QR with the kit
This is what they look like

All the kits are available here in Euro...

The skewer is the thin bar that runs through the hub to attach the wheel to the fork

  • I know what kit i need , i found it on dt-shop , it is ok but , beacause i have P2393 code on my wheelset , i can't use the kit , i dónt know why but this told me on email... you can see UP
I send him an email and i'm waiting for an answer....

PS: This is the Kit: http://dtswiss-onlineshop.de/index.php? ... t&info=326 but it is only for 240s FIFTEEN... i don't know what realy means...
  • I'm comming with bad news:
It is true , i can't use the kit because my front hub is a normal dt swiss hub 240s , NO dt swiss 240 FIFTEEN which is the convertible version of this hub!
For that hub is this kit : hwgxxx000 2328s to become a quick release , so the man from shop said true.
Thank you because you waste your time with my problem...! Have a nice day!

Ah I see, you have a standard 240 hub not oversize...so if you cannot get a kit from DT Swiss you will have to have your wheel rebuilt or change you forks !

  • I'm comming with great news!

    Thank you !
