Hi Finally got an insurance payout for a new bike, requested comments a while back on a Zaskar but that offer has gone now they took so long to payout! :evil:
Budget is £800 for a hardtail
Considering Pinnacle Iroko Two from Evans but not had hydraulic brakes previously so any comments would be good, bikes seems reasonably light and nice spec for the price.

Usage is short commute around 5 miles per day and then trails in and around Manchester.
any suggestions as to alternatives would be appriciated also

No its just relatively local so I can pop in and try the bike, not adverse to anywhere the zaskar was

Seems a good bike for the money. I'd visit Evans and have a try. Or Halfords and the Boardman.0
