Greetings Maggots,
Up early today as I am off to the city for my 3rd interview for a job I've been put forward for.
Yes, it's b*ll*cks hat it takes so many interviews but I guess that's the nature of business nowadays
Other than that, will be off to the Surrey office after my little covert meeting and spending the evening in the lovely area called Addlestone tonight.
I will return to the Worst Midlands tomorrow night to be greeted by a grumpy cat with empty bowls and a full litter box.
So, here's wishing myself luck for my 8AM interview :¬P
Ciao Maggots, see ya later, wishing you all a nice day

Good luck with the interviews I'm going to the shop this evening for an electrifying experience. I've just read that I should throw away 20% of my food - rather than do that I'll just not buy 20%.0

Morning cum buckets!
Today, my cold has moved from my sinuses (well, I say 'cold' it lasted for all of 3 hours. Can that count?) to my throat. I shall let my immune system get to work on beatin those germy ar$es.
Today, not sure what's happening really. Things are quietening down at work, which is nice. Might try and book next week off if possible.
Anywho's, i need to wake myself up more. More tea is needed.

Morning life forms
Today will probably be slightly interesting due to the fact that due to input from above (totally unwanted and definitely not needed) one of my contracts has got the hump and will in all probability fail a major KPI, but guess who'll get the blame?
On another note, I've got to argue the case for bringing in another £500k worth of business into the company. In short this would mean that I manage more than the other 7 Ops managers combined. Not sure if this would be a good or bad thing?
And good luck with the interview.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -

Insomnia is back with a vengeance. 5am wakeup has been replaced with couldn't sleep before midnight, followed by waking up at 3.15, 4.30 and 6am. Not that bothered though at the moment, as it's not really affecting my ability to function like it did over the summer.
Work is busy, drs appmt later, then... study.. woop.
Good luck in your interview Raymondavalon

Good luck at the interview Raymondo.
Just heading out of the door now on my way to my hospital appointment. Finally (after almost 4 weeks) get to find out what's happening with my leg. Hoo-farking-raa!
That's about all I'm up to today tbh.

Good luck with the Interview today!
Morning all,
Relaxation is in order for the day today, especially a super stressful meeting yesterday with work. Only thing on the bill today is to go to the credit dispenser and apply for the loan we were thinking about. So maybe in a few weeks we will be in our own place! Then a bit of call of duty, and monging.0 -
Morning Turdburglars,
I'm off to sunny Manchester today to catch up with some mates I've not seen in a while, so will be driving for a fair bit of today: a fair amount of food and beer will be consumed when I get there. Back down South tomorrow. Got an invite to try Cwmcarn uplift next week but may not be able to make it
Raymond, good luck with your attempt to escape from Stoke, can't say I blame you Let us know how it all goes."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
my posts are'nt going up if i use the full editor, cant be bothered to write it out again0

Morning,
Having problems with the image uploader at the minute, bit frustrating as my Mo is coming along nicely!
Happy hump day all, going to try and get out for some night pedalling tonight!
That's all0 -
Good Morning, and Good luck Raymond, I did have to re read after I thought you were going home to cats with empty bowels though, although that may of course be the case.
Anyway, in Gazlarland, today is a day of not doing too much, bit of a tidy and some initial prep so as to start decorating the main bedroom, but thats about it for now. Also decided that the boiler needs replacing, which means this move is getting pricier and pricier.0 -
afternoon,
getting a bit worried i might not sell my road bike, which means no new hard tails, had it advertised for 2 weeks now and had fark all interest! frustrating isnt the word!
[/rant]0 -
People just don't seem to want to buy lately! Last month Thomson stuff going for silly prices: I put it on for less, no interest! Same with Fox forks.
Doesn't help I think they are shite though, hmm.0 -
Kaise I'll buy it off you for £50 and some boiled sweets!
I think people are probably saving for Christmas. I know I am.It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

if someone was interested in the bike i would negotiate on the price what i dont understand is that if you try and get and Ultergra/Dura-Ace bike for £650 it isnt going to happen, i know the shop will sell it for £750 plus without doing a bean to it.
looks like ebay, but with a £17 listing fee i cant be farked if you know what i mean!
i know what i will be doing tonight!0 -
Good Morning, just getting ready for night shift 2 of 3. Tempted by take away for breakfast...hmm.....0

Epic fail today! I wasn't successful in my application for the position, but I am neither surprised nor disappointed
The role was challenging, but not quite my paying area, as it's more of a developer / analyst role.
Also got there 20 minutes late after leaving home before 5AM, but I did call in and told them I am a victim of the M4.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained, not quite an "epic" fail, but at least I made it this far in the process which tells me either I am a good bulls**tter or portray a good professional image. I think it's a little of both :¬)
Onwards and upwards, tomorrow my quest for alternative employment continues... ho, humm...0 -
Mixed day...Took the wifes car for as service and two new tyres......crafty moo and left little diesel in it so that was another £70 on the 400 sheets already spent...
Got an interview next week which is good news as there isn't much about in my field and the missus is complaining that on top of her day job 4 paper rounds is far too much for her...
Bad bit..stud in a dog turd and walked in through the hall....peg, vanish and hot water...0
